OK, it's been a couple of weeks since I got it, but here it is. 
No more digging through stuff to find where something is stored! It's all on one disk now! In my laptop! And portable! And edible! No, wait, scratch that last one. NO! DON'T EAT MY COMPUTER!
Anywho, I like Ubuntu (a version of Linux), a lot better than Windows -- but a lot of programs I like (mostly games, lol) won't run, at least not very well, in Ubuntu, so I set up my hard drive to "dual-boot," which means I partitioned my HD (you can separate a hard drive into "partitions" the same way you separate a house into rooms) to have both operating systems, and I just pick which one I want when I boot up. An issue with this is that if I save something to my desktop/documents/wherever with one OS, it's hard to get at it with the other one, at least without messing up some system settings, so I made what is commonly called a "media partition" and called it "Stuff."
I can access this one as if it were an external drive, so that's where I save most of my stuff.
Also, Ubuntu version 10.04 is out, but I'm still sticking with 8.10 because they changed too much! -_- Plus the boot-up splash screen is so much prettier. ^_^

Be careful with 8.10, it's not supported any more and you'll not have any security updates. It's best you either move to 8.04 which is supported for another 10 months, or move up to 10.04 which is supported for another 3 years.
